Make You My Lady aired on Heart Signal 2 Episodes 4 and 8
Twice in April of 2018, "Make You My Lady" had made two appearances in yet another South Korean drama, and we are so excited.
This time in a show called Heart Signal 2, a reality show that is very similar to the American show 'Big Brother'. With an element of a group living in a house and being set up to date one another, one by one, but unlike MTV's The Real World, this one is aiming for true love and the table of hosts guess which couples pair the best. Happy to share the screen with this Korean TV Drama. Truly an honor.

“Make You My Lady” has been on the South Korean charts for 1 full year!
This song has had an incredible life in Asia including dozens of TV show and commercial placements, a feature on the M! Countdown
(think TRL for Korea) and - even 6 years after its release - 8 million streams in just the past year. Thanks for listening!

In loving memory of Grayson Minney, 1984-2013
Grayson Minney was one of my best friends, as well as an incredibly inspiring musician. We lost him this past year.
Before he passed, I was lucky enough to spend a day with him shooting a music video for "Door's Open", which he had graciously agreed to be in. He was always one of my most supportive friends. Afterwards we spent the evening at my brand new place, sharing a guitar and spirits with an intimate group of friends. I performed "Drive" and the title track,"Legacy"; both of which had already been recorded for this album at that time. The songs earned Grayson's seal of approval; which meant the world to me then, and means even more now. Once the guitar got handed his way, Grayson had his hesitations at first, but then gave in and sang some of his heartfelt classics and instantly stole the show with a performance which will forever resonate in my mind and throughout my hallways. 5 weeks later, Grayson passed away. That was the last time I saw him. (See a performance from that day )
Since his passing, I wrote the rest of this album in his honor; each song inspired by his imprint on me and this planet. A legend in his 28 years, a friend for life. We will never forget.
In the liner notes of his first album Grayson wrote: "(I) would like to thank Jim Wolf for sparking the fire."
Grayson Minney, thank you for "sparking" my fire.

HUG MORE LOVE MORE
I am humbled to be one of the artist on list to perform at the Hug More Love More Music Festival in honor of Grayson Minney taking place on July 20th. This festival is an all day benefit event at the 'Four Towns Fairgrounds' in Connecticut. Other bands performing are Columbia Fields, Secondhand Serenade, RANE (from CT), Brian Jarvis Band, Gone by Daylight, Veronica Ballestrini, Forget Paris, and more. See the full list here: http://www.hugmorelovemore.com/the-bands.html
All festival proceeds go to Grayson's family to help them keep the house his father built with his barehand - which the bank is currently foreclosing on and auctioning in August of 2013. That's why this event is so important!
This next paragraph taken from www.hugmorelovemore.com tells it all:
"Leading up to this horrific tragedy, his family had already been struggling financially after Grayson’s mother Ava was seriously injured in a car accident. With her condition being the way it was, Fred had no choice but to take time off of work and take care of his wife. In doing so, the medical bills accumulated and the family fell on extremely hard times forcing them to become delinquent on their mortgage. Grayson, being well aware of his parents financial situation, decided that he was going to make it his mission to save the Minney homestead. After all, this was the same house that his father built with his own two hands, the same place that Grayson grew up in. Many of his friends knew what he had been doing for his father so we got together and decided we were going to continue his mission."
Please support this event. If you can't make it, buy a ticket for the cause they are only $20. In any case please share this event. Thank you so much for all the support. Grayson we love you!

Thank you Adam Bernard for the great write up on my music video "Door's Open"(feat. Meghann Wright) you can find the article here:
http://arena.com/article/jim-wolf-city-society-post-nobles-eye-ra-haze-ferns-night-birds-nyc-music
From the article:
The best part about writing this column, and being deep in the New York City music scene, is hearing such a wide variety of musical genres. The creativity, and musicianship, is so great that new and exciting sounds are conceived, and mature, on a regular basis. Some prime example are in this edition of Neighborhood Watch: NYC, which features the electronic dream pop of City Society, some summer ready surf rock from The Post Nobles, and a little bit of metal from Eye Ra Haze. Ferns gives us dream-punk, while Night Birds gives us classic punk, and singer-songwriter Jodi Good lets us know why different is to be embraced. We even have some old school ska straight from Asbestos Records' wildly successful two night event, The Apple Stomp. Leading things off, however, is the hand clapping, foot stomping, folk sound of Jim Wolf.
* Singer-songerwiter Jim Wolf, who was originally featured here last summer, has toured the country and come back with a slightly more folk oriented sound. His new single, "Door's Open," which features singer Meghann Wright, is the debut of that new sound, and the song is both positive and hand clap inducing. The video for "Door's Open," which was directed by Mike Falzone, is dedicated to the memory of Wolf's friend Grayson Minney, of whom he writes, "I love you, and had the great honor of being your close friend. Thank you for taking part of this. This song is forever in your memory."

We shot this video 6 weeks ago, and after had the best hang of my life. I split a 1/5 of Jameson and a pint of Jack at my new house and got to catch up with the people I don’t get to spend much time with these days. I had the chance to see Grayson one more time. We passed around whiskey and the guitar - we shared songs old and new. Grayson was such a good friend, at the drop of a hat he came down to be in the background of this video. I am glad I put him on the spot and made him perform some of his songs that day. He christened that house.

"Waiting For You"
On the early morning of May 11, 2013, I lost one of my best friends in a car accident. I am going to write here that he was a great person, but his love and support went beyond words as well as he was a fellow songwriter and inspiration to all that knew him. After 3 days of no sleeping, I built up the courage and fought away the tears (as much as I could) and I wrote this song and recorded it that same evening. After a few days of tweaking I released it on a Bandcamp page for a free download.
http://jimwolf.bandcamp.com/track/waiting-for-you
This song is in loving memory of Grayson Minney.
I had the honor of knowing and becoming close with Grayson. He and I had plans to record an acoustic album together of songs we wrote together and call ourselves "Masters of the Living Room" - It was our inside joke, as I make mention in this song.
Unfortunately we never got to make that record together.
After a few days straight of no sleep following the loss of him in our lives this past week - I sat in an early morning and wrote this in its entirety and recorded it that same evening. Inspired by his goodwill and honest nature, it was hard, but I made musical edits the way I think he would have liked. I like to think of it as the song Grayson and I wrote together. Hopefully someday, I can record a version with the remaining members of Columbia Fields.
If anyone finds comfort from this song please share with your friends.

"Song For Newtown"
Growing up only 15 minutes away from Newtown, I wrote a song for Newtown during the few days that followed the tragic event. The song could be found on the official Wearenewtown.org by clicking here.
http://wearenewtown.org/collections/frontpage/products/wildfire-by-jim-wolf-mp3
The "We Are Newtown" initiative was started as a community site to share fundraising efforts and goodwill in support of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy. We have hope. Hope with the knowledge that we are not and will not be defined by the misguided actions of one, but rather by what we do as a result of those actions. "We Are Newtown" rallies communities to unite and become stronger in times of tragedy.
We have established the "We Are Newtown" Memorial Scholarship, to honor those lives taken at Sandy Hook. Our goal is simple, to support the efforts of graduating seniors from Newtown with annual scholarships of $26,000. Our hope is to continue these scholarships annually, and to be able to award more than one scholarship per year. The "We Are Newtown" Memorial Scholarship is being administered by the Newtown Scholarship Association, Inc., a federally recognized 501(c)3 since 1963.
100% of net proceeds support the "We Are Newtown" Memorial Scholarship.
